As with home-grown Scotch Beef and Lamb, our Scottish farmed salmon are hatched, reared and fed in Scotland.
Over the years, much has changed: our farming approaches, the technology and know-how available to us, the increasingly specialist nature of many roles, and the diversity of our workforce, to name just a few. However, one thing remains unchanged and that’s our commitment to raising the healthiest fish in the most responsible way.

Every farmer's priority is to protect their livestock and we're investing on a huge scale to do exactly that.
We raise our salmon on diets designed to meet their nutritional needs and minimise impact on the environment.
When it comes to fish health, we believe prevention is better than cure.
We believe in farming our salmon out in the Scottish elements but that also brings its own challenges.
There’s much still to be learned which is why we're investing applied research on a multi-million scale.
