Keep safe, keep outside the buoys
Love exploring Scotland’s west coast and islands from the water? You’ll find our farms located in some of the most beautiful spots.
If you pass by, remember to keep outside the buoys.
The buoys indicate potential hazards on or under the water within our lease managed farm area.
These hazards can include:
- An extensive mooring grid
- Power cables that run the full length of this mooring grid
- Ropes and other fastenings.
All of which can move up and down according to the local weather conditions.
Veterinary medicine use
From time to time, when deemed in the best interests of fish welfare, we administer veterinary medicines on farm.
Any such medicine is prescribed by a qualified veterinarian and used strictly in accordance with its product licence and the farm’s SEPA CAR licence which sets precautionary limits, informed by local marine conditions, to ensure no harm to the wider environment.
